The new Empress of Heaven (天妃) temple at Long-jiang was completed. Zhu Zhuo, a vice minister in the Court of Imperial Sacrifice was sent to offer sacrifices and dedicate the temple. At this time, the eunuch Zheng He had returned from his mission to Calicut, Melaka and other fan countries and he said that the spirits had been greatly responsive and helpful. It was for this reason that the temple was erected.
