...the local commander Ma Bang who had been sent by Meng Gai, the native-official prefect of Shun-ning Prefecture in Yun-nan and... all came to Court and offered tribute of horses and local products. A banquet as well as variegated silks and other goods, as appropriate, were conferred upon them.
