The chieftains sent separately by the Ba-bai/Da-dian Pacification Superintendent Dao Zhao-san and the Meng-gao native official Dao Meng-fu offered tribute of elephants, horses, and gold and silver utensils. The Ministry of Rites was ordered to confer paper money and silks upon Dao Zhao-san and so on, and to confer paper money, as appropriate, upon the chieftains they had sent.
