On this day, the army of the Feng-cheng Marquis Li Bin, regional commander of Jiao-zhi, reached Liang River Prefecture. Spies reported that the bandit chief and false Special Duke Li Xing and the false Jin-wu Senior General Tao Qiang had massed a force of over 8,000 and had established camp at Ma-lang Hamlet in Duo-jin County. The troops were immediately advanced to eliminate them.
