The eunuch Yin Qing was sent to take an Imperial proclamation for the instruction of the various countries of Melaka and Cochin and to confer upon the kings of these countries "spangled-gold" silk gauze drapes and parasols together with patterned fine silks and coloured silks as appropriate.
