It was ordered that the Assistant Regional Commissioner Fang Xi of the Yun-nan Regional Military Commission, take on the supervision of the state farms and that Ma Xuan, the commander of the Yun-nan Left Guard, take on the circuit defence (分守) of the Yi-xi area. This was ordered in accordance with a request by the Grand Defender and Eunuch Director Tan Ping and others.
