It was ordered that the envoy A-luo-sha and others sent by Gu-lai of the country of Champa, be provided with an ocean-going ship on which to return home. A-luo-sha and the others had waited in Guang-dong for Ti-po-tai to send an envoy to express gratitude for Imperial kindness, so that they could personally testify in the case in which Zhang Jin had been charged with arbitrary enfeoffment. They had waited for over a year and none of them could stand the cold. They thus notified this to the Investigating Censor Wang Bian, who advised the Court. The Ministry of Rites submitted a memorial suggesting that the envoys be temporarily allowed to return to their country and that, when Ti-po-tai sent persons to express gratitude for Imperial kindness, they should then come to the capital to provide personal testimony. This order was accordingly issued.
