Dao Ban-zhi, who had been sent by his nephew Dao Ban-mian, the native official of Ba-bai in Yun-nan, presented elephant tusks, mats, aromatics, medicines and other goods. A total of 480 ding of paper money, 10 bolts of silk gauze, 10 bolts of fine silks and 120 bolts of cloth were conferred upon Ban-zhi and the others, 36 persons in all.
