The envoys who had been separately sent by Dao Xian-da, the pacification superintendent of the Che-li Military and Civilian Pacification Superintendency, the Laos native official Dao Xian-dai, the Ba-bai native official Dao Ban-mian, the Meng-ding Prefecture native official Dao Ming-gang and the Wei-yuan Subprefecture native official Dao Suan-dang, all came to Court and offered tribute of elephant tusks, rhinoceros horn, peacock feathers, Western Ocean cloth, drapes made of thread dyed with safflower (紅花絲幔帳) and gold and silver utensils. Brocaded fine silks and silk gauzes, as appropriate, were conferred upon those who sent the envoys, while paper money and silks were conferred upon the envoys themselves.
