The royal grandson Sha-gu-xing, the chief envoy, the deputy envoy and others who had been sent by Gu-lai, the king of the country of Champa, presented a gold-leaf memorial and offered tribute of local products. A banquet as well as belts, clothing and variegated silks, in accordance with the precedents, were conferred upon them. They were also given brocaded silks, in accordance with the precedents, to confer, on their return home, upon their king and his consort.
