Na Jian, a member of the ruling native-official family of the Yuan-jiang Military and Civilian Prefecture, killed the native-official Prefect Na Xian and seized the seal of the Yin-yuan Postal Relay Station. Jian was Xian's uncle. The Censor Ying Da-you, grand coordinator of Yun-nan, and others advised of the events. The Emperor ordered the grand defender and the grand coordinator to despatch troops to eliminate him (Alt: to capture or eliminate him as dictated by the circumstances). * The entry for this reference in the Ge-ben (閣本) edition of the Shi-zong Shi-lu provides the same information, but uses different wording.
