The Minister of War Shi Xing memorialized: "When the Ava-Burma bandits employed troops, the three pacification commissions almost became yi lands. Fortunately, the grand defender and grand coordinator made plans and the commanders and troops made joint efforts, recovered our former territory, and checked the bandits' wild and violent actions. Both military and civil officials made great efforts and the achievements and transgressions should be assessed. A censor should investigate and memorialize and corresponding rewards should should be conferred." The Emperor commanded that Chen Yong-bin, Mu Chang-zuo, Lu Cheng-jue, Zhang Guang-yin, Mu Can and Liu Tian-qu, be issued with rewards as appropriate.
