The Court charged Lu Shou of Dong-chuan with the task of recovering and presenting it. At this time, it still had not been obtained. The Yun-nan Regional Inspector Zhou Mao-xiang thus requested that Shou be replaced. He also advised: "Lu Shou and his brother Lu Zhe are engaged in fighting. Although they captured and presented Ke and Ju and received a large reward, they continued to act completely without fear.
