It was ordered that Han Men-fa, the nephew of Han Xian-fa, the deceased native-official pacification superintendent of the Mu-bang Military and Civilian Pacification Superintendency in Yun-nan, inherit his uncle's post. Earlier, Han Xian-fa had died, but Han Men-fa was still a juvenile. At this time, he sent persons to the Court to request permission to inherit the post. This order was subsequently issued. The eunuch Xu Liang was sent to take Imperial orders and biao-li of patterned fine silks, to confer upon Han Men-fa, his grandmother, mother and on Han Yan-fa, the native-official prefect of Meng-ding Prefecture.
