The Jiao-zhi Commissioner Chen Zhong and others defeated the bandit clique member Li Zhi at the Xiao-huang River in Jian-chang County, capturing alive over 150 persons and burning over 160 of the bandits' boats. They then proceeded to Gu-lei Hamlet in Xi-zhen County, Feng-hua Prefecture and defeated the bandit Chen Yi-lu (Alt: Chen Ba-lu) and others, killing or capturing over 600 persons and burning over 250 of the bandits' boats.
