On this day, Ding Zong-lao and other bandits, from Jian-ping and other prefectures and Da-wan and other counties in Jiao-zhi, rebelled. The Feng-cheng Marquis Li Bin, regional commander of Jiao-zhi, sent Fang Zheng, the commander of the Jiao-zhou Rear Guard, to lead his forces in destroying them. The bandits were defeated and fled. Over 400 heads were taken and the heads were all exposed as a warning.
