The envoy Xi-la, who had been sent by Bei-ling-da-ha, the Eastern king of the country of Java, came to Court, offered tribute of local products and memorialized a request for a seal. Paper money and silks were conferred upon Xi-la. It was ordered that the Ministry of Rites cast a seal of silver and plate it in gold for the Eastern king of the country of Java, and then send an envoy to confer it upon the king, together with variegated silks and other goods.
