The envoys sent separately by Dao Ji-han, the native-official magistrate of Ning-yuan Subprefecture and Dao Suan-dang, native-official magistrate of Wei-yuan Subprefecture, both in Yun-nan, offered tribute of horses in gratitude for Imperial grace. It was ordered that the Ministry of Rites confer upon Dao Ji-han and so on paper money, ramie-silks, silk gauzes and clothing made from ramie-silk interwoven with gold thread. It was also ordered that their envoys be banqueted and rewarded.
