On this day, the troops led by Jiang Hao, the assistant commissioner-in-chief of the Central Military Commission, who had been sent by the Qian-guo Duke Mu Sheng, regional commander of Jiao-zhi, reached the Lu River. There, they engaged in battle with the bandit follower Deng Jing-yi, but they were not victorious. Also, the Guang-dong Commissioner Sun Quan was defeated at the Zheng River and died of wounds inflicted by the bandits.
