The envoy Li Long and others who had been sent by Li Lin, who was temporarily in charge of the affairs of the country of Annam, presented incense on the occasion of the death of the Xuan-zong Emperor. Also, as the Emperor had newly ascended the throne, and the Emperor's grandmother had been appointed Grand Empress Dowager and the Emperor's mother had been appointed Empress Dowager, separate envoys presented memorials and local products in felicitation. A banquet as well as variegated silks and other goods were conferred upon the envoys.
