The attendant minister Tao Gong-zhuan and others who had been sent by Li Jun, the king of the country of Annam, came to Court and offered tribute of gold and silver utensils, rhinoceros horn, elephant tusks, gharu-wood and other goods. A banquet as well as paper money, patterned fine silks and clothing made from silk gauzes (luo) interwoven with gold thread, as appropriate, were conferred upon them.
