...and the chieftain Ha-da-su, who had been sent by Bu-la-lang Ma-ha Sheng-yi-su-la, the son of the Ava-Burma Pacification Superintendent in Yun-nan, came to Court and offered tribute of gold and silver utensils. A banquet as well as biao-li of variegated silk, suits of clothing, paper money and thin silks, as appropriate, were conferred upon them.
