As Lu-chuan had been pacified, the Grand Preceptor and Ying-guo Duke Zhang Fu was sent to announce this to Great Heaven, the one on High, and the Rich and Exalted Earth. The Grand Guardian and Cheng-guo Duke Zhu Yong was sent to announce this to the seven temples, the Grand Empress Dowager and the Deceased Imperial Father, the Zhang Xuan-zong Emperor. The text of the announcement read: "Formerly, because Si Ji-fa the remnant spawn of the Lu-chuan bandit fled to Meng-yang and gathered together his cohorts and plotted rebellion, I respectfully advised that I had ordered the generals to take an army on expedition to punish his rebellious actions. We relied on your great grace and humbly sought your special assistance. As a result, wherever the troops went they attacked with great majesty and might, and thereby the bandit gang was eliminated and the area was calmed. Victory has been achieved and this is reverently advised for your knowledge."
