The deputy envoy of the left Song Yun from the country of Bengal memorialized that the fan ship on which he had come had met great dangers and the ship had been battered and damaged. He requested that a new ship be built for them and that Imperial orders of protection and assistance be conferred upon him. As Yun was Chinese and had been able to bring a foreign country to China, the Emperor approved both his requests.
