The Commissioner-in-chief of the Right Mu Ang, regional commander of Yun-nan, memorialized: "According to Han Gai-fa, the pacification superintendent of Mu-bang, the rebellious bandit Si Ren-fa has fled to Ava-Burma. I have already sent people to arrange for Han Gai-fa to combine his forces with the native troops from Gan-yai and Nan Dian in order to capture Si Ji-fa and his younger brothers. I have also called on the native official Hun Meng-ping of Ava-Burma to capture Si Ren-fa." The Emperor sent orders to Ang and the others requiring that they put all their efforts into the capture of the bandits, noting that they had to be captured.
