Wu Wang, a commissioner under the Yun-nan Regional Military Commission, and Yang Fu, a commissioner under the Fu-jian Auxiliary Military Commission, were pardoned their punishments and it was ordered that they be re-instated in their posts. Previously, Wang and Fu had been involved in offences and they were arrested and imprisoned in the capital's prison. At this time, the An-yuan Marquis Liu Sheng advised that they were useful and requested that they be released so that they could accompany the expedition. Accordingly, this order was issued.
